The present study aims at exploring the degree of using the realistic assessment strategies and their tools by the teachers of Arabic language in the primary and secondary schools of Ar Ramtha directorate of education from their point of view. The sample of the study consisted of (200) the teachers of Arabic language in the primary and secondary primary schools of Ar Ramtha directorate of education in Irbid governorate during the second semester of the academic year (2018/2019). In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire consisting of (48) paragraphs divided into six areas. The results of the study showed that the degree of using the realistic assessment strategies and their tools by the teachers of Arabic language in the primary and secondary schools of Ar Ramtha directorate of education district from their point of view was very large in the following areas: (rating scale, checklists, performance-based assessment, anecdotal record), and a significant degree of use in both fields of (rubric, and observation).the results showed no statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample estimates of the study due to the gender variable. However, there are statistically significant differences due to the variable years of experience and the effect of the interaction between gender and years of experience. (Published abstract)
