au-delà de l'enseignement, soft skills et rôle de l'école dans la préparation de l'élève à la vie : étude descriptive menée dans deux établissements scolaires
In this study, we want to know if our schools are preparing their students for life. We consider that this preparation is closely related to the learning of Soft Skills, which are actually absent from the scientific research laboratories of the country. Therefore, we elaborate a list of Soft Skills trying to test their effectiveness in our Lebanese context. We use mixed research methods with a study of multiple bounded cases systems, applied in two schools: one, that adopts the Lebanese curriculum and the second, that adopts both the Lebanese and French curriculum. The discussion of the results will show us if schools are preparing their students for life and if the Soft Skills mentioned are important for the future. We propose a project to develop Soft Skills in schools and another one in partnership with the universities in an effort to push for the acquisition of Soft Skills during the pre-university stage.
