This study aims to identify the reality of change and its obstacles from the faculty members point of view in college of education in Kuwait University. The study relied on descriptive survey approach because it is suitable for the aim of the study and describe it accurately. And to achieve this aim, the study relied on the questionnaire tool to collect the data and information for the study. The study sample consisted of (72) from faculty members in college of education in Kuwait University, they were selected randomly. The study reached the most results: 1) The degree of change reality axis in college of education was generally medium, and the most change fields that the college interested is the technology and the service fields. 2) The weakness showed in planning and following up plans based on labour market changes and lack participation of faculty members in the change process. 3) The degree of change obstacles in college of education axis was generally high, and the weakness communications between senior leadership and faculty members was one of the main obstacles. 4) There were no statistically significant differences attributed to the sex, scientific department in college of education and years of service variables in change reality and its obstacles in the college of education axis’s, while it were found for the academic rank variable in favor of assistant professor and assistant teacher in change obstacles axis. Based on the results, recommendations were presented, including on interest in planning the change process, and involving faculty members in the required change.
