The aim of this research is to know the effect of prior knowledge of the criteria for building tests at the level of achievement for students of the basic stage in the capital’s secretariat and to raise the interests of students who love success but do not pay attention except when testing and to achieve the goals of the research then the researcher used the following statistical methods by means of (SPSS) program for statistical data manipulations then Gutman Split -Half was used to calculate the stability of the achievement test, and (T-TEST) was used for two independent samples to test the significance of differences between the arithmetic averages according to the assumptions of the statistical study at the level of significance (0.05) in addition to solving For contrast mono (Anova) to test the differences between the averages of the experimental group and control group students according to gender, and to test the differences between the arithmetic means for the performance of students in the experimental group for the previous collection (high-medium low). The search resulted in the following results: 1) There are statistically significant differences between the average pupils' bicycles, the research group in the pre and post applications of prior knowledge of building tests in favor of the post application. 2) There is a trace of prior knowledge of building tests for basic stage pupils, and this requires more attention from students, researchers in curriculum science, and those in charge of the educational process in the Republic of Yemen to provide such prior knowledge of standards building tests for each stage of general education.
