The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of using educational theater in gaining scientific concepts and developing the attitudes of kindergarten towards science in Mafraq. The semi-experimental design was used, and the study was applied in the period from 9/6/2020 to 5/10/2020, and the study sample consisted of (40) male and female students from the Ma'ather Private Kindergarten in Mafraq, and the sample was divided into two groups, one of which was considered a control and its number was (20) students who studied by regular methods and the second is experimental, and the number of (20) students studied by the theater method, and the survey instruments consisted of the conceptual acquisition test The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (a = 0.05) in the grades of kindergarten on the test of acquiring scientific concepts according to the group (experimental, control), and after confirming the validity and stability of the two instruments. For the benefit of the experimental group who were exposed to the use of educational theater compared to the control group, which means that there is a clear effect of using educational theater in the acquisition of scientific concepts among kindergarten students, as the results indicated that there are apparent differences between the arithmetic means of the grades of kindergarten on the trend scale as a whole in the pre and post measurements according to the group (experimental, control), and it was beneficial for the experimental group who were exposed to the use of educational theater compared to the control group members, and the study recommended the need to work to enhance the strength of educational theater and its adoption in educational curricula in kindergarten grade.
