دور رياض الأطفال في نشر الوعي البيئي لدى أطفال ما قبل المدرسة من وجهة نظر معلمات رياض الاطفال في محافظة المفرق
This study aimed to uncover the role of kindergartens in spreading environmental awareness among kindergarten children from viewpoint of female. The study population was represented in all kindergarten female teachers in Mafraq Governorate during the second semester of the academic year (2020/2021), and their number was (72) female teachers. While the study sample consisted of (51) kindergarten female teachers in the governorate of Mafraq, who were selected in the available way. To achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of two dimensions, they are: (the role of kindergarten female teachers in spreading environmental awareness, and the role of kindergarten administrations in spreading environmental awareness), with (26 statements). The questionnaire validity and reliability were verified, and a descriptive and analytical approach was used to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that the degree of appreciation of kindergarten female teachers for their role and the role of kindergarten administrations in spreading environmental awareness among pre-school children was high, and the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) due to the years of experience variable in the degree of appreciation of kindergarten female teachers for their role and the role of kindergarten administrations in spreading environmental awareness among pre-school children. The study concluded with some recommendations, like, encouraging kindergarten administrations to conduct field trips for children to introducing them to the natural environment. (Author’s abstract)
