أثر مدى توافر مكونات البراعة الرياضية في محتوى كتاب الرياضيات للصف السابع الأساسي في الأردن
The study aims to figure out the availability of the mathematical proficiency components in the content of the seventh-grade mathematics textbook in Jordan. To achieve this objective, the study adopted the content analysis approach where the study population and sample consisted of the seventh-grade mathematics textbook prepared by the Ministry of Education of Jordan for the academic year 2019-2020 (n. 1) divided into two parts. The study conclusions showed that the frequencies of the mathematical proficiency in the seventh-grade mathematics textbook ranged between (228-1215). The conceptual comprehension was ranked first by (1215) frequencies (40.2%), the procedural fluency was ranked second by (763) frequencies (25.2%), the strategic efficiency was ranked third by (482) frequencies (15.9%), the adaptive inference was ranked fourth by (338) frequencies (11.2%), and the trend towards the product was ranked fifth by (228) frequencies (7.5%). In light of this conclusion, the study recommends the need that the mathematics textbook include some activities that contribute to the development of the mathematical proficiency components being an essential objective of mathematics learning.
