The purpose of this study is to analyze the content of UNESCO Media and Information Education Course in light of critical thinking skills in Jordan. Content analysis method is used in this study, and the analysis form contains 26 paragraphs divided into five thinking skills: extraction, explanation, argument assessment, comparison and analysis. The sample consists of the Media and Information Education Course approved by UNESCO including its exercises and questions. The study outcomes show that the degree to which critical thinking skills inclusion in the content of the Media & Information Education Course are extraction skill by 37.8%, explanation skill by 30.8%, argument assessment skill by 14.8%, comparison skill by 8.6% and analysis skill by 8% successively. The study concluded that there are a number of recommendations. The top recommendations are to focus on the inclusion of analysis and comparison skills in the Media & Information Education Course content. (Author’s abstract)
