This study aimed to the effect of instructional level on scientific thinking among intermediate female students in Kuwait state. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The sample of the study consisted of (305) students selected from grades seven, eight and nine in Mubarak Al-Kabeer district in the State of Kuwait. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the scientific thinking test was used. The results showed that the level of scientific thinking among middle school students in the State of Kuwait as a whole came to an average level, and that the skill of identifying the problem came with the highest arithmetic average, followed in succession by the skills of formulating hypotheses, then testing hypotheses, then interpretation and finally generalization, and the results revealed the existence of statistically significant differences in The level of scientific thinking among middle school students in the State of Kuwait is due to the educational level variable in favor of the ninth and eighth grades. The study recommended the interest of those in charge of the educational process in scientific thinking skills by including them in school curricula and activities. (Author’s abstract)
