أثر استخدام القصة القصيرة في تحسين الأداء القرائي لدى طلبة الصف الثالث الأساسي في الأردن

This study aimed at the impact of using the short story in improving reading performance among third graders in Jordan. The study members consisted of (50) male and female students from the third primary class who are studying in the (Zainab Al-Asadiya Secondary Mixed School) of the Directorate of Education for the First Zarqa Region for the academic year 2019/2020, and they were chosen by the intentional method available. They were randomly divided into two groups: experimental and control. The researcher also prepared a note card to measure reading performance, and its validity and reliability have been verified. The validity and reliability of the study tool were verified. The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in improving reading performance due to the teaching method in favor of the experimental group. It has a positive impact on improving reading performance among third-grade students. (Author’s abstract)
