This study aimed at examining the employers and people of determination perspectives on the effectiveness of the vocational rehabilitation programs in the UAE. The study also aimed at examining whether there are statistically significant differences between the people of determination’s perspectives and the employers of the people of determination with respect to the efficacy of the vocational rehabilitation programs. The sample of the study consisted of 54 participants: the people of determination (n=27) and employers of people of determination (n=27). The results of the quantitative analysis indicated that the perspectives of the employers and people of determination towards the effectiveness of the vocational rehabilitation programs regarding vocational and social domains are relatively high. However, the employers and people of determination perspectives with respect to the continuity and follow up domain is moderate. Also, the results showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the employers of people of determination’s perspectives and the people of determination’ perspectives regarding the efficacy of the vocational rehabilitation programs for people of determination. The study included some recommendations, most importantly: 1) vocational centers contacts with the direct chiefs of people of determination periodically to identify their problems and solve it. 2) Vocational centers deliver awareness workshops for chiefs of work about traits of people of determination to have a realistic aspiration of their performance.
