دور القيادة المدرسية في دعم برامج رعاية الموهوبين من وجهة نظر الهيئة التدريسية : دراسة ميدانية على المنطقة الشرقية بالإمارات العربية المتحدة
The current study aimed to measure the actual level of technical and administrative practices carried out by the school leadership in support of gifted programs, from the teachers 'and female teachers' point of view, in all public schools in the Eastern Province of the United Arab Emirates. The study also aimed to show whether the faculty’s perception of these practices differs according to their personal and functional characteristics. In order to achieve this, the researchers used the descriptive survey approach, by developing a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements, which were distributed electronically to the study sample consisting of (240) male and female teachers in public schools in all circles in the Eastern Province. The results of the study showed a high level of actual technical and administrative practices of school leadership in support of gifted programs, even if the level of technical practices was relatively higher than the level of administrative practices carried out by these leaders. This reflects the effectiveness of school leaderships in dealing with the gifted programs, and their accurate understanding of the technical requirements necessary to support the gifted, which are considered the most important of the administrative requirements. The results also showed that there are no differences in teachers ’perception of the level of actual technical and administrative practices of school leaders based on their personal and functional characteristics, which reflects the strong and established level of these practices in the actual reality, so that these practices are perceived to a relatively similar degree by all teachers, regardless of their gender and educational level. Their experiences, and even the seminar they are working on. (Published abstract)
