This study aimed to identify the actual implementation of information technology and communication in administrative work by school principals at Mafraq Governorate, and to ensure the existence of statistically significant differences in the degree of implementation of information technology and communication in administrative action by school principals attributed to certain variables, such as gender, educational qualification, and experience. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive survey method by developing a questionnaire to be distributed to the participants of the study. The study population comprised of 164 principals of public schools in Al-Mafraq Governorate, Jordan. The researcher used a random sampling method to recruit (105) male and female principals, who made a percentage of (60%) of the whole population. The study found that the actual implementation of information technology and communication in administrative work by school principals at Mafraq Governorate was high, as "using information technology in the field of administrative work" came "first, followed by the field of "personnel affairs." It was also followed by the "Student Affairs", which was also of a high degree, and followed by "material resources" with a medium level. The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the actual implementation of information technology and communication in administrative work by school principals at Al-Mafraq Governorate attributable to variables (gender, educational qualification, and experience). Based on the findings, the researcher recommended to design and implement of an awareness program at the Ministry of Education level to address school principals about the importance of information technology in school administration and provide human capabilities to train school principals to use information technology in school administration.
