فاعلية برنامج تعليمي مقترح لتنمية مهارات كرة السلة لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية في دولة الكويت
The study aims at identifying the effectiveness of educational program on developing basketball skills among secondary stage students in Kuwait. The study followed the quasi-experimental approach, two-group Design. The sample of the study targeted (32) students. They were divided in two identical groups, experimental and control (16) students for each group, Skill tests were measured, before and after the application of the educational program, using some teaching methods in eight weeks. The results showed statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the means scores of the students of the experimental group and the students of the control group in the level of performance of basketball skills (chest pass, bouncing, and jumping shot) in the post measurement in favor of the experimental group. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the two pre- and post- measurements of the experimental group in the level of performance of basketball skills(chest pass, bouncing, and jumping shot) in favor of post-measurement. In the light of these results. The researcher recommended applying the educational program because of its positive impact on learning basic skills in basketball. (Author’s abstract)
