The current research aimed to identify: 1) the level of self-harm among intermediate school students. 2) Parental treatment methods followed with intermediate school students. 3) Detection of the relationship between the two variables, self-harm, parental treatment methods. For the purpose of achieving the research goals, the researcher adopted the (Kazem 2010) scale and the (Kiki 1991) scale, and after applying the two scales on the research sample consisting of (400) students, the results showed the emergence of some self-harming behaviors among the research sample. As far as the second goal is concerned, the researcher extracted all one of the five methods of parental treatment which are followed in education of children separately, and the results showed a positive relationship between self-harm and methods (domination, strength, negligence) and a negative relationship between selfharm and the method of tolerance, and the lack of a relationship between self-harm and the method of oscillation.
