The study aimed to know the strategic planning at the faculty of education at Al-Qaseem University from the teaching staff members point view. Study sample consisted of (83) members. To achieve the study’s goals, a questionnaire has been prepared. Its validity and reliability were confirmed. It consisted of (65) items distributed to two domains: first domain strategic planning standards and included (28) items, the second domain practicing the strategic planning and included (37) items. Results of the study showed that the strategic planning standards domain has received the first rank with degree very high, while the practicing the strategic planning processes domain has received the last rank with medium degree. Also, results showed that no statistically significance differences between the means of the sample individuals’ on the two domains due to the section variable. There are statistically significance differences between means of the sample responses on the two domains as a whole due to the service variable in favor of (more than six years), and there are statistically significance differences between means of the sample responses on the two domains as a whole due to the academic rank variable in favor of (professor). The study recommended a number of recommendations, some of them: the necessity for activating quality standards practice in the strategic planning processes in an effective way. (Published abstract)
