The General Educational Diploma at Qassim University is considered one of the major services and program the DCS provides at Qassim region. The current study aimed at assessing the GED program from the faculty members' and students' perspectives regarding five aspects: admission procedures and standards, goals of the program, courses and its contents, strategies of instruction, and the types of measurement and evaluation used. Moreover, the study had two independent variables: gender and academic ranking for faculty members and gender and working place (public or private) for students. To achieve the primary goals of the study, quantitative descriptive methods were used in which two questionnaires were distributed to the study sample: one for students enrolled in GED and the other for the faculty members teaching at GED. The total sample of the study consisted of (19) faculty members and (159) female and male students seeking the GED in the academic year 2014-2015. The findings of the study indicate that 1) the majority of the study's participants had a highly positive view regarding the GED program held in Onaizah, 2) there was no statistically significant difference between GED's faculty members and students, 3) gender and academic ranking was not a significant factor for faculty members, 4) there was a statistically significant difference between students' responses in regards to GED courses and its contents in favor to teachers at private institutions, and finally 5) the study's respondents provide some suggestions to improve the GED program such as making a explanative brochure regarding the EGD, using technology and its devices more as a method of instruction, and evaluation of the study plans in general to exclude non educational course.
