The aim of the study lies in identifying the effectiveness of group guidance program based on realistic theory to improve levels of studying skills and to decrease level of school violence in secondary stage students in directorate of II education in Zarqa. The study population consists of (330) secondary stage students in Birin district of the Directorate of II education in Zarqa during the academic year (2018/2019), where two schools have been randomly for the study sample. Birin School was selected for the experimental group with (25) students, and Um Rumaneh School was selected for the control group with (26) students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed the study instruments: the scale of studying skills, the scale of school violence, and the development of the group guidance program.
