المهارات القرائية والكتابية والحسابية التي يمتلكها طلبة الصف الأول الأساسي الملتحقون ببرنامج رياض الأطفال كما تجدها معلماتهم
This study mainly aimed at investigating reading, writing and mathematical skills of primary first grade students who enrolled in the kindergarten program as their teachers found. To achieve this goal, the descriptive approach has been used for the nature of the study. The study included of (46) teachers who teach the primary first grade students in Mafraq directorate. In order to achieve this aim of the study, the researcher developed questionnaire consisting of (63) paragraphs divided into three domains in reading skills (28) paragraphs, writing skills (17) paragraphs and mathematical skills (18) paragraphs. Validity and reliability of the instruments of the study have been investigated. The results of the study showed that the primary students they have reading and writing skills in a medium degree and with an average of (3.63). The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences in the effect of academic qualification and experience in determine the extent to which students possess these skills practicing writing and reading skills. The study recommended that attention should be given to reading, writing and mathematical skills for children in kindergarten. (Author’s abstract)
