The aim of this research is to measure the effectiveness of cloud computing technology to enhance Project Based Learning (PBL) for students at Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum. The research adopted quasi-experimental method in a control group design with pre - posttest. The research population consisted of all students of the second level at Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum, registered in the course of the Introduction to the Instructional technology in the second semester of the 2014 - 2015. A purposive sample of students of Geography major, totaling 50 students was selected; they were divided randomly into two groups, a control and the other experimental by 25 students in each group. To answer the questions and to achieve hypotheses of the research; been using achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect of PBL, and observation card performance to measure the skill aspect, after making sure of the validity and reliability. Data analysis resulted in the statistical treatment of the following results: There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average degrees of control group, and the average of the experimental group in the post application of the achievement test of the cognitive aspect of skills PBL in favor of the experimental group. Where the impact of cloud computing technology by the value of Eta square (ƞ2) is large in the cognitive aspect achievement for skills PBL; it was (0.32).There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average degrees of control group and the average of the experimental group in the post application for observation cheek list of skills PBL in favor of the experimental group There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group in the pre - post application for observation cheek list of skills PBL due to cloud computing in favor of the post-application. Based on the study findings the researcher recommended to encourage faculty members at the Sudanese universities to activate cloud computing applications by using learning strategy based on project. Implement workshops and training courses for the training of the Sudanese universities faculty members on how to use cloud computing technology in teaching university courses. (Published Abstract)
