The research aimed at identifying, the general characteristic of self-estimation and anxiety of future among students of Khartoum State universities, and the relationship between self-estimation and the anxiety of future among those students. The research also aimed at identifying, the differences in self-estimation, and in anxiety of future due to gender variable, among the students. The population of the research consisted of students of Khartoum State universities who are amounting (230) male and female students. The sample of the research consisted of (130) male students and (100) female students who were randomly selected. The researcher used the descriptive approach. Two self-estimation measurements were adopted in the research first one is of (30) paragraphs prepared by Hassan Abdelaziz, Abdelwahab Kamal and Mohammed Salama and published by Alfiqr Alarabi (Cairo), while the other is of (40) paragraphs which prepared by Mohammed Abdeltawwab Moawad and Saeid Abdelazim Mohammed and published by the Anglo-Egyptian Bookshop. In order to verify the validity and reliability of the two measurements, Spearman, correlation coefficient and Alpha Cronbach coefficient were adopted, and accordingly, the final version of the self-estimation measurement contained (40) paragraphs while the final version of anxiety of future measurement contained (30) paragraphs. Findings of the research were represented in: 1) Self-estimation among students of Khartoum State universities is high. 2) General characteristic of anxiety of future among students of Khartoum State universities is over moderate. 3) There is correlation between self-estimation and anxiety of future. According to the above mentioned findings the research recommends that further research should be conducted to continue the present research. (Author’s abstract)
