The objective of this research is to identify the general characteristics of the psycho-social compatibility of the hearing impaired in government universities in Khartoum state. The aim is to identify differences in the compatibility of the variables (gender –age- disability- academic achievement level of father and mother education- originality). The researcher used the descriptive approach .The ample size was 102 impaired persons on -44 of them were males and 58 females. These people were selected via simple random method. The researcher used Heom Bell’s study of psychological and social compatibility as cited in Zeinab Shuqair. The researcher used the social packages program (SPSS) on the following equations: Selection of (T) and coefficient of correlation (Person) to process the data statistically. The researcher found the following results: The hearing impaired are characterized by high level of psychological and social compatibility. There were also no statistically differences in the degree of psychological and social compatibility of the hearing impaired according to the gender variable. There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of psychological and social compatibility of the hearing impaired according to the age variable. There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of psychological and social compatibility of the hearing impaired according to the age variable. There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of psychological and social compatibility of the hearing impaired according to the type of disability. There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of psychological and social compatibility of the hearing impaired according to the variable degree of disability .There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of psychological and social compatibility of the hearing following variable academic achievement. There are statistically significant in the degree of psychological and social compatibility of the hearing impaired according to the variable level of the mother, the father and original homeland.
