درجة أهمية توظيف وسائط التواصل الاجتماعي في العملية التعليمية التعلمية في مدارس دولة الكويت من وجهة نظر مديري تلك المدارس
The present study aimed at investigating the reality of the importance of employing social media in the educational process in the schools of Kuwait as perceived by the principals of these schools, based on the variables of: gender, qualification, and years of experience. The sample of the study was 189 male and female principals from the state of Kuwait, to achieve the aim of the study, the researcher constructed a questionnaire which consisted of 36 items distributed on four domains: administration, teachers, students, and local community. Descriptive statistics and ANCOVA were used to analyze the principals’ responses on the four domains of the questionnaire. The results showed that the extent of the reality of the importance of employing social media in the educational process in the schools of Kuwait values as perceived by the principals of these schools was high on the domains of the questionnaire: administration, teachers, students, and meditation domain of local community, respectively. the results further showed that only significant differences at (α≤ 0.05) were found on the variable of gender on the domains of teachers and in favor of those who females. And no statistically significant differences at (α≤ 0.05) were found on the variables of years of experience and qualification on all domains. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended the necessity a number of recommendations, the most to encourage the male school principals to employ these different techniques and means, and to provide the necessary support to them in the form of material or moral support, and to hold training courses for parents in order to educate them on how to communicate with the schools and follow the results and behaviors of their children electronically.
