This study aimed at assessing the needs for the reliance on the process of administrative control to improve performance at the Educational directorates in Jordan. The population of the study consisted of all the principals and their assistants in the Directorates of education in Jordan in the year 2016.To achieve the goals of the study, the importance and the reality of the administrative control process to improve performance were recognized in the Jordanians' Directorates of education by distributing the study tool (Questionnaire) to all of the 144 individuals of the study population in the directorates of education all over Jordan within 42 geographical administrative areas. The study used the descriptive survey approach, the study concluded with the following results: 1) The status quo of the reliance on the administrative control process to improve performance at the Directorates of education with medium degree. 2) The importance of the dimension of the administrative control process to improve performance in the Jordanian educational Directorates. 3) The estimation of the Jordanian Directorates need to rely on the dimension of the administrative control process to improve performance was high.
