This study aimed to identifying the degree to which Arab elementary school principals’ practice their roles towards the newly hired teachers at Arab schools in the Negev. The descriptive method was used, and the questionnaire was the tool of the study. A random stratified sample was chosen to present the study population (Arab elementary school principals in the Negeb region within the green line) during the scholastic year 2017. The results showed that there is a high degree for the principals of Arab elementary school in the Naqab region to play their roles from the point of view of the newly hired teachers. The results also showed that there is no statistical differences in the degree at the level of (α = 0.05) to which Arab elementary school principals’ practice their roles towards the newly hired teachers at Arab schools in the Negev due to the gender variable, the original place of residence and the educational experience.
