أثر توظيف نظام الفورمات (4mat) في تنمية المفاهيم ومهارات التفكير العلمي بمادة العلوم العامة لدى طالبات الصف السابع الأساسي بغزة



The study aims at identifying the impact of employing the 4mat system in developing the concepts and the skills of scientific thinking of the seventh primary grade female students in the Gaza Strip in the general science subject. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach and the experimental methodology. The tools of the study included a test for scientific concepts that is consisted of (38) paragraphs, and a test for scientific processes that is consisted of (25) paragraphs. The sample of the study was selected from Fahmi Aljerjawi Preparatory Girls’ School. The number of subjects was 61 female students. The most important conclusions: 1) There are statistically significant differences at the level α≤0.05 between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group and the members of the control group in the test of scientific concepts in favor of the experimental group. 2) There are statistically significant differences at the level α≤0.05 between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group and the members of the control group in the scientific thinking test in favor of the experimental group. The most important recommendations: 1) Using 4mat system, which has proven effective in developing scientific concepts and scientific thinking skills in the teaching of other subjects. 2) Teaching the 4mat system for the students of education and training them on using it during practicum and after graduation.
