This study aimed at finding the degree of the commitment of the professional development criteria by computer female teachers in Mafraq in the Light of modern trends related to some variables, including academic qualification and years of experience. The sample of the study consisted of 30 computer female teachers in Al-Mafraq in the academic year 2017/2018. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was followed where an observation card was developed, and it consisted of three main areas. A total of 36items were included. The results showed that the degree of commitment of computer teachers in Mafraq to the standards of professional development in the light of modern trends was moderate. The results also showed no significant differences at α = 0.05 in the degree of commitment of computer teachers to the standards of professional growth. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences α = 0.05 in the degree of commitment of computer teachers to the standards of professional development according to the variable of "more than 10 years" of experience. In the light of the results, the study recommended several recommendations and suggestions. (Author’s abstract)
