This Study aimed at investigating the level of vocational awareness of vocational branches Students in Mafraq Governate and its relation with the gender of the students and their desire for the vocational specialization, grade level and level of achievement. The study sample consisted of 95 students from vocational schools in Mafraq governorate who were selected by the school administrations for the second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the survey descriptive approach was followed by the development of a vocational awareness scale consisting of (33) items divided into three domains, namely cognitive, emotional, and skill domains, after verifying its validity and reliability. The results showed a high degree of vocational awareness among the subjects on the scale as well as on the emotional and skill domains. The results showed a moderate awareness of the students on the cognitive field. The results also showed statistically significant differences in the levels of vocational awareness among students due to gender in favor of males. While results show no statistically significant differences in the levels of vocational awareness due to the variables of desire for vocational specialization, grade level and level of achievement. In light of the results, the study recommended several recommendations, like: Inviting specialists and decision makers in the Ministry of Education to provide students with information on vocation through field visits to vocational schools and distribution of booklets to students to familiarize them with professions to raise vocational awareness in the domain of cognition.
