أثر استخدام السرد القصصي في تحسين مهارات الاستماع لدى طالبات الصف الثالث الابتدائي في دولة الكويت

The aim of this study was to find out the effect of using story narration on developing the 3rd grade pupil's listening skills in Kuwait. The sample of the study consisted of (60) students divided into two groups: an experimental group (30 female students) and a control group (30 female students). The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach. The researcher prepared a listening skills test, consisting of (20) multi-choice questions. The results of the study reached several results, the most important of which were the existence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) For combined listening skills attributed to the method of teaching, and the differences were in favor of teaching story in narration. The study also found statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) due to the effect of teaching method in all skills. In the light of the results, the researcher recommended a number of related recommendations, viz., including the guides of Arabic teachers some stories as texts to listen, introducing the strategy of teaching stories and reading and narrated in the curricula of preparing teachers of Arabic.
