The research aims to achieve the following objectives: 1) measuring cognitive style especial personality among the students of the University of DhiQar. 2) Measurement of distinctive personality traits among the students of the University of DhiQar. 3) Get the relationship of cognitive style (especial personality) distinctive personality traits among the students of the University of DhiQar. In order to achieve the objectives of this research, the researcher building measure especial personality characteristics, after extracting the sincerity and firmness and strength discriminatory paragraphs using chi square and the relationship of paragraph primarily overall scale, also adopted a measure method of cognitive (physiognomy- Literal style) researcher (Edrees) 2010 after extracting the sincerity and firmness, and then applied this instruments on a sample of 300 students and a university student were chosen randomly from the University of DhiQar, and they are: The Faculty of Engineering , Faculty of Science of Mathematics and Computing, Faculty of Education, Science Pure, and the College of Science , College of Agriculture and marshes, College of Nursing, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education for the Humanities, College of Business and Economics, Faculty of law, Faculty of Physical Education. Find limits: Current search limits were limited to students in grades III and IV and women with four- year colleges for the 2012-2013 academic year at the University of DhiQar. After collecting the information and processed statistically using analysis of variance and test Altaúa for one sample and test Shefiafor multiple comparisons. Research found the following results: Characterized Iraqi society cultural and social variables and cognitive styles include parental upbringing directed towards the formation of distinct personalities differentiation methods is sharp and that there is a tendency among members of the sample in the methods used together guiding students using methods associated with mental processes lead to personal excellence and evolution, but the qualitative transformation to deal with the girls led to allow greater opportunity for girls to characterize the personality. Recommendations: 1) The educational institutions to establish standards for a variety of students, the adoption of new standards and a variety of personal characteristic in determining the community. 2) The university to build and implement programs for the development of the personal characteristic among university students. 3) Lectureship and adopt methods of university professors and teaching methods are encouraged to think and physiognomy. 4) The universities to provide practices and activities for students and give more space and freedom of expression. Proposals: 1) conduct a similar study on university students Baghdad. 2) A comparative study on other samples and other age groups. 3) Conduct a study of cognitive style (physiognomy- Literal style) and its relationship to efficient working memory and cognitive and psychological variables.
