This research studies the evaluative practices of the performance of primary teachers in forty schools in Mount Lebanon, particularly at casa of Baabda. According to a mixed approach aiming to answer the following main question: «To what extent does the evaluation of teachers provide support that promotes their professional development?», research associates quantitative with qualitative. The results show that some characteristics of schools and other personal characteristics of teachers have a strong influence on the evaluation of teacher’s performance. Discussions of the findings led to recommendations and answer the following questions: «How to promote the quality of teacher’s evaluation? How to start and how to do?». (Published Abstract)
