The study aimed to identify the degree of mastering Action Research Skills by science teachers' in Mafraq governorate. To achieve this aim, a valid and reliable test of (37) items was developed. It was distributed into six areas of Action Research Skills: (Knowledge of action research, Identifying problem action research, and formulate hypotheses action research, Collection action research data, Action research data analysis, with action research results). The test was applied to a random sample consisted of (40) science teachers schools at Mafraq directorate of education, in the second semester of 2014/2015. The study revealed the following results: The degree of mastering action research skills by science teachers is below the pedagogical standard level that is 81.08%. There is no statistically significant difference at (α = 0.05) due to gender, or experience, or the interaction between them in all areas and action research skills. The total score for all areas of mastering science teachers to action research skills action came within a weak degree. In light of the results of the study it was recommended to the Ministry of Education and academic institutions to focus on research skills to enable teachers to use the action research skills.
