The study explores the view points of TaibahU faculty members and staff with regard to the training programs and workshops provided by Deanship of Development at Taibah University. It also aims at identifying key decisions and adjustments of the Deanship’s related future plans for the betterment of its training programs. While all faculty members and staff of the year 2010/2011 are implicated in the study, a population sample of 201participants from the male and female sections was chosen randomly to participate in the current study. To achieve the set goals, a questionnaire of 27 statements was distributed to identify the faculty and staff’s view points vis-à-vis the training programs provided by the Deanship of Development. The questionnaire focuses on four axes of these programs namely: Planning, Design, Implementation and Expectations. Results revealed that “Design” was ranked first with 70.11% followed by “Implantation” with 71.77%. “Planning” held the third position with 68.46%, then “Expectations” in the last position with 67.89%. Also, results revealed the absence of any indicative statistical variations at 0.05 concerning any of the view points pertaining to the 4 axes of the current/actual situation. Further, no indicative statistical variations attributed to professional status (faculty member vs. staff) were found in three axes: (Design, Implementation and Expectations). There were, however, indicative statistical differences in favor of Faculty members concerning the “Planning” axis of the programs provided by the Deanship of Development. In light of the results, the researcher recommends the inclusion of all Taibah U faculty and staff in defining their own needs of such training programs, the necessity to monitor and canalize the programs’ related processes to grant the attainment of the set goals/ expected results, and finally the participation of all Taibah faculty members and staff in evaluating the programs they follow and those representing potential interest to them.
