فاعلية برنامج تدربي حاسوبي مقترح في التربية الصحية على تنمية التحصيل والاتجاه نحو التعلم الذاتي لدى معلمي العلوم بمدينة جدة
The research aims to identify the effectiveness of a proposed computerized training program in the health education on the development of attainment and the direction towards self learning of science teachers in Jeddah. To achieve this goal, a computerized training program was prepared. This pilot program consists of three experimenting units ( sports injuries, sports nutrition and addiction). They were prepared in power point presentations with hyperlinks. An achievement test for the concepts of health education was also prepared to measure the different attitudes towards learning. The achievement test and the trends measurement were applied on a sample of 38 science teachers in Jeddah. The experiment self study units were studied within 45 days. The test and the trend measurement were reapplied on the same sample after they finished studying the units. The results showed the effectiveness of the computerized training program in the health education on the development of the attainment of some Knowledge of the health education. It also showed that using the computer in developing the trends towards self learning the concepts did not reach the rate of the effectiveness of the average set by “Blake”. The study also found a correlation function at the level 0.05 between the attainment of science teachers of the knowledge of health education and their attitudes towards self learning with the aid of computer.
