The purpose of the study was to evaluate Faculty Members' Capabilities in use of e-learning in the College of Education at University of Khartoum. The study population consisted of all staff members at the Faculty of Education totaling (135), during academic year 2014. The researcher selected a random sample of (54) staff members, 40% of the study population. To achieve the objectives’ study and answer questions; questionnaire was designed, included six axes consisted of (82) items, after confirmation of validity and reliability; it was distributed to respondents. Followed methods and appropriate process in data analysis. Results showed that: The capacity level of faculty members of the College of Education at Khartoum University in the field of e-learning was high in the word processing (MS-Word), and the basics of teaching design. The medium in the preparation of MS-Power-Point presentations and dealing with the Internet and E-mail, and were weak in dealing with the Web – 2. There were no statistically significant differences in the capabilities level of faculty members in the use of e -learning in word processing, dealing with the Internet, the basics of teaching design, and the use of electronic courses, dealing with Web - 2 due to scientific qualification (MA, PhD). There are statistically significant differences in the ability to prepare of MS Power- Point presentations in favor of the master's holders. There were no statistically significant differences in the capabilities level of faculty members in the field of e-learning due to specialization. There are statistically significant differences in the capabilities level of faculty members in the use of e-learning due to the variable of training courses. The study recommended designing a training program, includes the capabilities of e-learning; with the necessary for attention to develop these capabilities level and evaluating from time to time.
