أثر هجرة الكفاءة العلمية على التنمية الاقتصادية في السودان : 2000 - 2013م
The study focused on the impact of the brain drain on the economic devilment in the developing countries “Sudan as case study” the study pointed out that such brain drain is the most serious threat facing countries in general and Sudan in particular. The importance of this study is essential as the qualified and competent manpower is the key in economic progress in Sudan. The study aimed at analyzing the phenomenon of brain on Sudan and its effects in the economic development; also it analyzed reasons for such brain drain. The study used the descriptive and analytical methodology, the methodology of Case study and the statistical methodology. Recommendations of the study: The migrating of qualified is selective and this no doubt is big loss to the country - the economic motive is the main reason behind such brain drain followed by the Scientific and the political and social motives. Recommendations: Not approving all migration requests from the countries in need of our qualified personnel’s- gives more incentives to encourage the return of the qualified expatriates from abroad- full utilization of the hard currency rendered by expatriates- creating a suitable and incentive environment for development of education and scientific research and linking them with the market demands- revising the wage levels to suit what is applied in countries compared to our own capabilities.
