General locus of controlis one of the important and central concepts in cognitive psychology, the pioneers of social learning theory considered it as the basic foundation that drives human behavior and determinesits visible nature.Because of the importance given to this concept,weproposed the development of a locus of controlscale for use at school and be special for the stage of adolescence, due to the importance of this age on the one hand and because the middle school education is a transitional period fromchildhood to adolescence in whichadolescent develops his personality in various areas and perhaps the most important one is school, where future specialization milestones begin to emerge. Will the adolescent follow what he believes in and what he owns of capabilities and characteristics thatqualify him to do a task and manages it, or others forces as the injustice of teachers, and their inequality among pupilsdid not allowhim to be excellent and choose the best. Therefore,in this field study article, wewilldevelop locus of control scale for schools and validating it on Algerian environment to be adequate for use in the following studies. (Published Abstract)
