The study aimed to investigate the reality of educational counseling at the University of Kufa, from their students' views, according to the genger and specialty variables. The researcher followed the descriptive-comparative design, and the sample composed of 300 male and female students from scientific and humanitarian specialties included the faculties of (Engineering and Nursing, Arts Political Sciences) equally. The researcher implemented the questionnaire as a tool for data collection after the confirmation of its validity and reliability. The arithmetic mean, T-test for two independent samples were used statistical tools. The study results were as follows: - The level of educational counseling at the University of Kufa, from their students' views was weak and ineffective. - There are no statistically significant differences in the reality of educational counseling at the University of Kufa, according to the variables of sex (male and female) and academic specialty (scientific and humanitarian ).
