This thesis aimed to highlights the Political education in Almawirdi's thought, and clarify its notion, principles, goals, foundation, means, and to clarify its educational applications in the institutions of governance. To reach its aims the study applied content analysis method. Accordingly, the thesis included five chapters. The first chapter focused on the following; thesis problem, its importance, and its terminologies. The second chapter aimed to introduce the personality of Almawirdi and the factors contributed in shaping his political and educational thought. Additionally, the chapter clarifies the notion of political education, its aims and institutions. Also the chapter highlights previous studies reviewed by the researcher to achieve her goals. In The third chapter, the researcher applied content analysis method as procedural tool in analyzing and calcifying the thought and ideas of Almawirdi's books; Alahkam Alsultaniyyah, Durar Alsuluk fi siyasatulmulook, qawanen Alwizarah, Tasheelul Nadhar Wa Taajeelul Dhafar. The chapter includes also the thesis results which highlights that the Islamic law was the main source and factor that shaped the political thought of Almawirdi, and it been based on ethics and morals, and Almawirdi was realistic in understanding and dealing with the reality of his age. The findings of content analysis method highlighted the main parts of almawirdi's political theory which includes the constituents of effective state; religion, justice, security, development and hope. It included also the characters that qualify the ruler to be in power and the organizing rules to the authority; religion, power, wealth. Additionally, the chapter highlighted the ruler's duties toward his people; insuring security, training solders, managing finance. The fourth chapter presented the thesis findings; the notion of political education from Almawirdi perspective, its principals and applications, the general characteristics of the rulers and administrators, and finally the institutions of political education.
