This research aims at knowing (The Effect of Using the Strategy of Listening Triangle in Expressive Performance for Second Grade Students Intermediate Stage). In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researcher applied the following zero hypothesis: There are no statistical differences between the average scores of the Experimental group who study the expression material by the Strategy of Listening Triangle and the average scores of the students of the control group who study the expression material through the normal methods in expression performance test. The researcher applied his experiment on a sample of Second Grade Students Intermediate Stage in Al-Artiqaa Intermediate School in two sections which 79 students who were chosen purposely among the day schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Rusafa. The researcher chooses randomly the section (A) to represent the experimental group of 38 students taught by the Strategy of Listening Triangle, and section (B) represent the control group of 41 students taught by the traditional method. After eliminating the answers of 11 students, the total number has become 68 in 32 for the experimental group and 36 students in the control group. The researcher matched the two groups in variables of (age, parent acquisition, and the marks in Arabic for the previous year 2013/2014, the pre-test). The researcher tried to adjust a number of variables that affect the internal and external validity of the experiment. The t-test was used to two independent samples and Chi-square and Pearson Correlation coefficient. In order to determine the scientific material, represented by them subject of Expression, the researcher prepared a questionnaire made up of 10 topics from the expression topics which were displayed on a group of experts and judges to choose among 7 topics of which 6 for the experiment and seventh for pre-test. Then, the researcher formulated the behavior objectives which are 51 objectives. They were displayed to a number of experts and specialized in Arabic and methods of teaching to show their validity. After that the researcher prepared teaching plans according to the Strategy of Listening Triangle for the students of the experimental group and then according to the steps of traditional method for the control group. The researcher used the unified to measure the expressive performance for the students of the two groups after he prepared a questionnaire made up of 8 themes of the expression, displayed 1 a group of expert to choose one topic among them to make the final post-test which the research prepared and applied to the two group of the study (experimental – group), at the end of the experiment depending on the correcting touchstones of Al-Rubayee 1997. After analyzing the answers and processing of the students by the use of the suitable statistical methods the following was found: There is a statistical significant difference at the level of 0.5 in average score of the students of the experimental group who study the expression material by the Strategy of Listening Triangle and the average score of students of the control group who study the expression material through the normal methods in expression performance test for the experiment group.
