Problem: Identifying the research problem has become clear research problem in the study of treatment of Arab newspapers and Arab satellite channels of political events after the Egyptian revolution m 2011, and the impact on levels of political participation among young people of Egypt in the age group of 18- 22 years. Importance: Importance of the study contribute to the study to test the role of the media, especially newspapers and Arab satellite channels in the process of political participation in Egyptian society and that the application to a class of university students. Objectives: test the relationship between the treatment of newspapers and Arab satellite channels of political events in Egypt after the January 25 revolution and political participation among young people of Egypt. Type: This is a study of descriptive studies, where the study seeks to address the newspapers and Arab satellite channels of political events is Egypt after the January 25 revolution and its relationship to political participation among young people of Egypt. Community and Sample: The population of the study in Egyptian universities, university youth aged between 18- 21 years. The study sample consisted of random sample of 400 single young people of both sexes (200 males and 200 females) in universities Ain Shams, and Zagazig and Beni Suef, and the Modern University, by 100 for each single university. Tools: The study used against newspaper survey to achieve the objectives of the study and testing of religious duties, which included several axes. Results: The results revealed that the demographic variables of the Egyptian youth have not been influencing the strong process of political participation have, being a process which is now occupy many of the categories of Egyptian society without regard to the type or socio- economic level or party affiliation and to any universities belong, and played releases News strongest role in preparing youth to gain information and knowledge of the political events of political rapidly, followed by newspapers in the Arab influence on the process of political participation among young people of Egypt.
