The present study aimed to identify the level of job satisfaction among the Directorate General of Education administrative staff of Dhofar Governorate. The study tried to achieve its goal to answer the following questions: 1) What is the level of job satisfaction among administrative staff in the Education Directorate General in Dhofar Governorate? 2) Do different levels of job satisfaction among the administrative staff at the Education Directorate General of in Dhofar Governorate have different variables among (experience, gender, job title name, age, educational qualification)? The field of the study is from all the central administration for the Ministry of Education in Dhofar governorate for the study year 2011/2012 with the total number of 450 administrators. We randomly chose a sample of 216 employees from the total 450. After verifying the questions, we sent them to the 216 people in the sample group.from those, we received 199 completed questionnaires. To gan the results of the study, the secretary developed a questionnaire of 37 items including 5 fields; salaries credit, employee promotion, personal relationships, and the terms and conditions of work opening grades. After making sure of questionnaire validity and reliability it was distributed to the study samples consisting of 216 from female & mail Directorate employees, and recalled a number of 199 questionnaire. The researcher used descriptive statistics to analyze the study results, He made the averages retrieved and standard deviations of each paragraph in each area, also used the test (t. test), and variance analysis. The most prominent study results included: 1) The results showed the areas of job satisfaction among the administrative staff at the Education Directorate General of in Dhofar Governorate, the overall satisfaction level was moderately, reaching averages total 2.81. 2) That job satisfaction level among administrative staff at the Education Directorate General in Dhofar Governorate in human relations field has obtained the first rank, while working environment conditions satisfaction area came second, while job stability satisfaction came thirdly, as salary and incentives satisfaction area came fourth, while promotions satisfaction area came fifth in last place. There is no significant statistically differences at the significance level 0.05=α between averages due to the changes in all areas and in satisfaction as a whole except for salary and incentives area, were favor differences was.
