The objective of the study: 1) To identify the effectiveness of using multimedia computer software in teaching rules of static M of intonation textbook in proficiency in reciting the holy Quran to the fifth grade’s students of elementary school at each level of (recall understanding – practice). 2) To identify the effectiveness of using multimedia computer software in teaching rules of static M of intonation textbook in proficiency in reciting the holy Quran to the fifth grade’s students of elementary school at the previous levels as a whole (recall– understanding– practice). The problem of the study was identified in the following main question: What is the effectiveness of using multimedia computer software in teaching rules of static M of intonation textbook in proficiency in reciting the holy Quran to the fifth grade’s students of elementary school in Makkah? The main question was divided into several hypotheses that have been answered by using experimental method. To achieve study goals, the researcher designed an educational software and prepared a cognitive-achievement test and note card that have been verified of its validity reliability and applied on the study sample which consisted of 60 students. Then the statistical analysis was carried out using a statistical package for social sciences program (spss). The study found the following results: There are statistically significant differences in students’ achievement (the experimental and control groups) on the post achievement test for the benefit of experimental group because of experimental treatment (teaching by using software).
