This study aimed to identify the images of diversity in story characters in Arabic children’s literature compared to western children’s literature, to identify examples of diversity in culture and the physical environment in children’s Arab literature compared to the west. In addition to determining how children’s literature reflects Arab acceptance of diversity in the characters of the story, culture and physical environment compared to western children’s literature. The study sample consisted of stories of pre-school children .20 Arab stories and 20 English stories using a descriptive analytical approach “method of content analysis. The tool study consisted of two parts: first, includes preliminary data for the study sample stories (the title of the story, the author’s name, publisher, year of publication) analysis of the second part included elements of the analysis, including the characters, culture and physical environment The data was analyzed and verified Questions study using statistical methods following: duplicates, percentages and grades. The study results are as follows: there is a tendency to accept the other are positive in Arabic and English stories alike. There is diversity in positive figures except for minor differences, the stories in Arabic and English. There is also a positive diversity in culture and in physical environment. Acceptance of the other in negative does not exceed 10% in diversity examples “personalities, culture and physical environment in children’s English and Arabic stories. (Published abstract)
