The study aimed to investigate the degree of applying aspects of Trickett & Moss’s theory of class management from the perspectives of social studies teachers and school head teachers at the upper elementary stage schools at UNRWA in Jordan in light of some variables through using the descriptive analytical method. A survey questionnaire consisting of 78 items distributed among nine domains comprising the domains of Trickett &Moss’s theory of class management was designed to measure the teachers’ practice degree of class management. The survey questionnaire was administered among a study sample that consisted of 70 teachers of social studies at UNRWA schools in Jordan and 69 male and female school head teachers. Results showed that that the average estimation degree of the social studies teachers’ practice of aspects of Trickett & Moss’s theory of class management is high on all the domains of the survey questionnaire. Participation and involvement in class management ranked first, while class control and discipline rated the ninth rank. Findings of the study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences between the social studies teachers’ practice degree of aspects of Trickett & Moss’s theory of class management attributed to the variables of post title (teacher or head teacher), gender and teaching experience. However, results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the social studies teachers’ practice degree of aspects of Trickett & Moss’s theory of class management attributed to studying a course in class management in favor of those teachers who studied a course in class management. In light of these findings and what resulted from them, the study came up with the following recommendations, most importantly: rehabilitating teachers to what complies with new developments. Education .as well as developing teachers’ skills in the field of general and class room control .also conducting more studies with the teachers from different specializations applying the same recommendations.
