The study aimed to detect the degree to which the geography textbook of the twelfth grade of environmental issues and problems was included. The drop-off sample consisted of the geography textbook of the twelfth grade. The analytical descriptive curriculum (content analysis method) was used, as a list of concepts relating to environmental issues and problems was prepared to reveal the extent to which they were included in the book, and the sentence was adopted, a unit for analysis. The results of the audit showed that the degree to which concepts and indicators of environmental issues and problems were included in the geography textbook of the twelfth grade was (157) times. Chapter I, which consists of two modules: climate and environmental issues, has the highest number of repetitions, with (85) repetitions, while chapter ii, which also consists of two modules: the science of the study of the earth's surface forms and political geography, has (72) repetitions. The most frequent concepts and indicators of environmental issues and problems were the concept of climate change, with (13) repetitions and (8.3%), and the concept of noise and the concept of medical waste, with (2) repetitions and (1.3%), respectively. In the light of the results, a set of recommendations had been made. The need to take into account and incorporate concepts related to environmental issues and problems that are less frequent in the geography textbook of the twelfth grade in Jordan. (Author's abstract)
