البناء العاملي للاندماج الجامعي في ضوء بعض المتغيرات الديموجرافية
The research aimed at identifying the significant differences in university engagement among the faculty of education students according to gender (male, female), study level (first, fourth), and place of residence (rural, urban). To achieve the objectives of this research, the researcher designed a university engagement scale that was applied to a sample consisting of 461 male and female students aged between 17 and 23 years, with an average age of (20.02) years and a standard deviation of (1.885) years, consisting of (55 males and 406 females) during the academic year 2021-2022. The findings revealed that: 1) there are statistically significant differences between male and female students' average scores on the university engagement scale's total score and its sub-factors (social engagement, academic engagement, and compliance with the university system) in favour of female students. 2) There are statistically significant differences in total scores between students in the first and fourth grades. 3) In the social engagement factor, there is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of first- and fourth-grade students on the scale of university engagement and sub-factors (academic engagement, compliance with the university system). 4) There are statistically significant differences in the total score of the university engagement scale and sub-factors (academic engagement, compliance with the university system) between rural and urban students. 5) In the social engagement factor, there is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of rural and urban students.
