The present study aims at revealing the impact of reality therapy in reducing the symptoms of procrastination among female university students as well as verifying the extent of the continuity of the effectiveness of reality therapy in decreasing the symptoms of procrastination behaviour among these students. The research adopts the experimental approach to identify the extent of the influence of reality treatment in reducing the symptoms of procrastination among female university students. The study sample consisted of 20 female university students, whose grades indicated a high level of procrastination. They were divided equally into tow group: 10 students in experimental group and 10 students in control group. The following tools were applied to all the students in the two groups: the scale of the symptoms of procrastination among female university students (prepared by researcher), as well as the reality treatment program with all its techniques (prepared by researcher). These tools were applied only to the experimental group. The research findings revealed the effectiveness of the reality treatment in reducing the symptoms of procrastination that some female university students have in the experimental group more in the post-test than in the pre-test. The results also showed that the experimental group improved over the control group on the scale of procrastination symptoms in the post-test. (Published abstract)
