This study entitled "University self-training and its role in building a contracting project" aimed to find out the extent to which self-training contributes to building a contracting project among students incubated in the university incubator at Kasdi Merbah Ouargla University, as well as to identify whether the knowledge and qualifications acquired by students enable them and qualify them to build an entrepreneurial project, which was conducted during the university season 2022-2023 on an intentional sample consisting of 20 individuals. The descriptive approach was relied upon, while the data collection tool was represented in the interview as the primary tool and participatory observation as a secondary tool. Among the findings of this study are the following: 1) The results of the study resulted that the training programs play an important role in building and continuing the entrepreneurial project for the student, as the programs play a key role in providing individuals with methods, skills and scientific and practical values that contribute to raising the sense of entrepreneurship and the efficiency of the teaching staff is an important factor in the student's self-formation. 2) The results of the study resulted that the various activities and courses organized by the university incubator contributed to deepening the knowledge and professional competencies of the trainee, which automatically contributes to the self-formation of the student who is the holder of the project, although it lacks the development of (modernization) as well as the relative aspects of the application. 3) The results of the study showed that the field internships carried out by students play a key role in raising their self-formation, because of their effectiveness in expanding and consolidating theoretical knowledge and providing them with new performance and practical abilities and skills.
