This study aims to identify the main obstacles faced by university students in establishing start-ups. It seeks to answer the following research question: What are the organizational factors hindering the establishment of start-ups. By students in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kasdi Merbah Ouargla University in 2023? This qualitative study utilized interviews to collect data from a purposive sample of 9 respondents who were involved in start up, projects in 2023 under decision 1275 at Kasdi Merbah Ouargla University. The study reached the following conclusions: 1) The majority of students do not have the experience and skills in the fields of entrepreneurship and business management. 2) The majority of students do not have sufficient knowledge about the concept of a start-up. 3) The majority of students face difficulty in conveying the idea of a start-up.
